When schools invest in football, they’re investing in culture. The accountability, leadership, and community buy‑in don’t just lift the team—they elevate academics, arts, and every other program. In a time when real community is fading, that shared identity matters more than ever

After a great conversation with @riqthompson14 @CoachChipViney I'm truly blessed to receive my 17th division one offer from Arizona. @qdiggs6 @CoachJBrittain @jacorynichols @_CoachTorres @CoachWoodard13 @coachphillevans @Shaun_Rut @BamPerformance @samspiegs @MikeRoach247

Location is not a dealbreaker for me. Open to play anywhere willing to give me an opportunity!

This season was one of the most meaningful of my career. We had moments that lifted us up and moments that tested us in every way. Losing seniors to injury was one of the hardest parts of the year. These young men worked their whole lives for their senior season. They deserved every snap. It hurt to see that taken from them. But the way they stayed involved, supported their teammates and kept leading even when they could not play showed the kind of character that makes this program proud. They will always be part of our family. This team grew in ways that go far beyond football. Kids who walked in back in August learning a brand new coaching staff ended the year as a real family. They trusted us, they trusted each other and they grew closer every week. They pushed through hard days together, celebrated each other’s success and picked each other up when things got heavy. Our coaches found kids who became like their own sons. I watched grown men pour into these boys with everything they had, and I watched those boys give that trust right back. Those relationships will last long after the lights turn off. When I created The Mothership, I wanted something that captured the heart of Klein. Now that I have lived a full season here, I know exactly what it means. The Mothership is teachers who love our kids and show up for them in ways most people never see. It is parents who support this program like it is an extension of their home. It is a community that fills Memorial Stadium and makes Friday nights feel alive. It is the pride in wearing blue and gold and representing something bigger than yourself. It is the connection, the toughness, the loyalty and the belief that make Klein special. The Mothership is not a slogan. It is who we are becoming. We also have an incredible leader in our principal, Shannon Strole. Her belief in me and in our staff means more than she probably realizes. She supports us, trusts us and celebrates our kids in everything they do. She sets the tone for what Klein should be and we are lucky to work with the best. This season was only the foundation. We broke records. We took real steps forward. We brought Klein back to the playoffs for the first time in almost a decade. But more important than any stat or result, we built something real. I look at our younger players who stayed after school during playoff week just to help and be part of it, and I know the future is strong. I look at our seniors and the legacy they leave behind, and I know the standard is in good hands. I look at this staff, this school and this community, and I know we are building something that is going to last. I am proud of these boys. I am proud of our coaches. I am proud of the relationships that became family. I am proud of the seniors who led us, even the ones forced to lead from the sideline. And I am proud to be the Head Football Coach at Klein High School. The Mothership came alive this year, and this is only the base of what we are going to become. #TheMotherSh1p

Great seeing two former Knights competing against each other at the NCAA Division level last night! Proud of the numerous Knights who have gone on to play college football over the years! @joshuamoore_23 @King_kell11 @recruit_FALLSFB
