It's not an accident that these hitters drive the ball so well to the opposite field. Tracked swings in the final three rounds of BP today, about 70% went oppo or to center. Some of those swings (Carns, McCulley, Cmeyla, Faurot, Fisher, Lodise, West, Bailey, & Williams):

From Caribbean Series last night.The value of aggressive 1st base play in defending the sac bunt with runners on 1st & 2nd.(Even easier with LH 1st baseman) Nothing holding the 1st baseman at or near 1B. Probably want the P breaking to 3B line. Good read by 3rd baseman.
