Halo just can’t catch a break man. Microsoft hasn’t been able to do anything right with this series since Bungie left. Whether it’s 343 or anyone else. Halo 4 - Mid CE Anniversary - Bad Halo 5 - Horrendous MCC - Didn’t work for 4 years Infinite - Decent but tons of issues Halo TV Show - oh my god Give Halo to ID Software or something man they’ll cook. Besides, CE doesn’t need a Remake, especially not one that’s only half the game. This shit is timeless.

A couple ideas… (anything more I’ll need to see a contract 😏) “Echo Chamber” - your past fights come back as enemies (your movement, your habits) “Ghostline” - enemies are slightly ahead in time, forcing prediction over reaction “Trade-Off” - every weapon has a buff + a drawback Fewer gimmicks, more systems that actually change how Halo plays. Most fights are decided before the shooting starts. Skulls should push that further.

@hayasaka_aryan I’m confused? What’s the context here. What’s wrong with Harry Potter being suspicious of his teacher? Isn’t that something all kids have felt before. If anything it’s relatable, when I was a kid I got my Nintendo DS confiscated and never saw it back.

The HBO show will show Harry constantly harassing the only Hogwarts teacher that’s black accusing him of stealing stuff, they really didn’t think this through

@kirawontmiss When you change a character’s racial identity, you change the meanings of other characters’ interactions with that character. It’s one thing when you do it to a hero, but an entirely different thing when you do it to an antagonist. It’s like if they’d made Lizzo Ursula in TLM.

The main change that I want from the Harry Potter HBO Show is Harry and Hermione ending up together at the end. Even J. K. Rowling has admitted she made a mistake with putting her with Ron. This change needs to happen.

@SeverusChud Harry Potter’s themes are supposed to be deeply rooted in personal relationships and experiences. Making Snape black hurts not only his story, but also the story of James and Lily.

I’m sorry, but this is just ridiculous. Race swapping Snape and most of the students, including Hermione, completely kills the immersion in HBO’s Harry Potter show. Snape was written as a thin, greasy haired man with a pale, sneering face. Turning the story into one about racism destroys its internal themes, and ruins the story. This show was over for me the moment it chose tokenism over staying faithful to the books.
