We need fewer platforms that sell products and more that build context. Most music platforms see tokens and NFTs as products to sell and collect fees. Artists and fans care about context, but it's hard to build anything, and expensive without platforms that support that Platforms: stop focusing on selling, start building context

Today someone I've never met before found my music through the artwork i've been posting on @ourZORA , and checked out my new EP on @supercollector_ . They enjoyed it and minted the whole project. Little wins like that make the grind worth.

I've been wondering what it looks like to have a core "centralized" part of the label which drives things foward but some second co-owned part or community treasury that can be used for funding cool ideas. generally found that too much decentralization means nothing happens, too much centralization and you're just a normal company. feel like there's something in the middle

I still think a decentralized record label / dao is a good idea.
