Michael Jackson released 150 songs in his career. On Friday alone Drake released 41.
Kurrco@Kurrco

Drake’s “Make Them Cry” is currently aiming for a #1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 based on first day numbers 📊 It would mark Drake’s 14th credited #1 single, which would break his tie with Michael Jackson for the most Hot 100 No. 1s by a male solo artist.

There’s no way you listened to these songs and said that #BROWN wasn’t a great album……. Incredible R&B.

On May 4, 2024, less than 24 hours after dropping “Meet the Grahams,” Kendrick Lamar released the record that would define an entire year of Hip-Hop. Built on a hyphy-laced West Coast beat produced by Mustard in roughly 30 minutes, “Not Like Us” went after Drake’s credibility, his exploitation of Atlanta’s scene, and his pattern of latching onto artists he had no real connection to, all while letting the most serious allegations of the feud hang unanswered. The only warning anyone got was Top Dawg posting “Dot, I see dead people” on X about two hours before it hit. The cover art said it all, a bird’s-eye Google Maps screenshot of Drake’s Toronto mansion with 13 red sex offender markers placed on the roof. In five days it debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, broke Drake’s own Spotify single-day streaming record with nearly 11 million streams, and became the most streamed song in any single week this decade. It hit 1 billion Spotify streams as the first diss track to ever do it, swept all five Grammy nominations including Record of the Year, was named the best song of 2024 by Billboard, Pitchfork, and Consequence, and closed out a Super Bowl halftime show. The numbers, the awards, and the cultural moment all pointed to the same conclusion. “Not Like Us” is the greatest diss tracks ever recorded!
