Oh no! John killed a terrorist running towards a crowd of civilians, a terrorist who has already killed and can/likely would either attack the crowd or take a hostage to ensure his escape. How terrible, John made the correct decision to take out the threat and save the crowd of people. How tragic. Steve would never kill an enemy combatant during an operation, except the dozens of times we see him do it on screen, and who knows how many times he did it off screen. That's true in some foreign countries, not the U.S. In the U.S., the source of the funds used to buy an asset is what matters, not who has title of the asset. Trying to title assets outside of the marital estate for purposes of shielding them is called a fraudulent conveyance and not only would the assets be considered part of community property, the person trying the stunt would get hit with penalties. It's not some new legal loophole nobody has ever tried or courts have never seen before.
