Think if I supported Hearts, once I'd stopped violently vomiting in a few days' time, I'd be getting very heavily into running or cycling on the weekends and would never watch a single game of football ever again.

There has been nothing to be learned about Liverpool for many months. They are a hopeless, miserable team and watching them is to be endured rather than enjoyed. Still, good news about the surprisingly good sausage rolls in the ground.

There really can't be many places on the planet better to watch football. Gorgeous ground that always looks tremendous in the low sun.

It's worth empathising that so many countries, including ones with significant football history, just don't have this. Their clubs are spread so far apart and their stadiums aren't full. In this country, everyone gets to have it. Some more than others. What a blessing.
