I’m not a massive fan of Arsenal but it’s definitely a penalty…
george@StokeyyG2
I mean it’s just not a penalty but whatever.
English

@steviepoolman1 @southport_fc You’re a tad late Stevie, the quarter final was over a week ago.
English

@southport_fc I cant believe that it is impossible to get a ticket for the quarter final. I have been trying for over a week after signing in. I won't even bother trying for the Wembley game.😠😠😠

@Declan61708 @southport_fc How? The under 18s? Bring an adult, might turn them into a fan, which means more money.
English

@_DannyJohnston @southport_fc By stopping a massive majority of loyal fans getting tickets.

@Declan61708 @southport_fc Which is why they’re doing what they can to get more fans through the gate…
English

@_DannyJohnston @southport_fc Moneys important but I'll always think fans are more important
English

@Declan61708 @southport_fc Whether we make it through or not, plus if we get even an extra 50 people through the gate every week, that’s an extra £15,000 at least a season. Which at this level, is a lot of money
English

@Declan61708 @southport_fc There wouldn’t be any fans if we didn’t have a club. At the end of the day, the thing we need to survive is money, so we need to explore every avenue we can to make money. If there’s an opportunity to make an extra 20 grand or so, then so be it. The real fans will still be back
English

@Port751 @southport_fc Having a ticket for the Oxford game increases revenue. You’ll more than likely see an increase in attendance at that game as people will want to guarantee a Southend ticket. It’s about making money, which isn’t a bad thing considering we nearly didn’t have a club 9 months ago.
English

@southport_fc What a load of nonsense , what makes the Oxford game so special , I can understand season ticket holders , but how about the fans who turned out in previous rounds before everyone jumped on the band wagon . You won't see half these people again if we go out . Needs a rethink
English

@Declan61708 @southport_fc Under 18s need to be with an adult 1. To reduce any idiots doing something they shouldn’t. 2. More money, which as a club that nearly went extinct less than 12 months ago, I have no issue with the club trying to make as much money as possible.
English

@_DannyJohnston @southport_fc I can understand that view point but needing an adult ticket with an U18 is absurd and honestly the 5 games this season makes more sense for actual fans which is what it should be about. Not money.
English

@Declan61708 @southport_fc Gets more fans through the gate for Oxford, more revenue for the club. Even if fans don’t go to the Oxford game, there will still be people who will buy a ticket to guarantee a Southend ticket. It’s all about money, which it should be. Personally they’ve got it spot on.
English

@southport_fc Tbf think the club has gone about this the wrong way. Who cares if you have an oxford city ticket? Fans who have attended 5 games or more this season should get priority Why should a "fan" who only started coming on Saturday be able to get a ticket before me just because I'm u18
English

@DurellThe @tomlewis17777 @Kenny9Saunders @southport_fc @MarineAFC I’m no footballer, but I’d be much more proud if I played infront of a partly full Wembley than a full anfield
English

@tomlewis17777 @Kenny9Saunders @southport_fc @MarineAFC More often than they’ll ever get a chance of playing in front of a full anfield again
English

If @southport_fc and @MarineAFC both get to the FA Trophy final would they consider playing the game at The Hill Dickinson or Anfield in a full stadium ? Just a suggestion

@southport_fc Pitch invaded again🤣🤣 my days you are embarrassing🤣🤣 just to get beat in the next round🤣🤣
English

DJ Pedro has been recalled by Bury from his loan at @southport_fc.
Was cup-tied for the FA Trophy, no real impact on Saturday’s squad selection.
English

@Sidneykidney4 @joe_thomas18 Might be a higher standard, but it’s a very different type of football. David Raya speaks highly of his time at Southport. How it properly prepared him for men’s football theguardian.com/football/2023/…
English

@joe_thomas18 What's the point?? Everton U21s is a higher standard than Southport.
