That CM Punk promo on #SmackDown was awesome. The only part that didn't get the desired response was Punk saying, "I don't know how who would feel comfortable working with someone who just punches people in the face backstage. It's 2023, you can't be doing stuff like that."
I think it kinda shows that WWE fans aren't as into the inside references. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but in AEW, that line would have gotten a "gigantic pop"
