I made a grand discovery in my chase for running Halo Infinite as strongly as possible on PC. I had a chat with one of 343’s graphic engineers. We discussed many things about performance design, slipspace, and a billion other things. He had an oddball theory. A reason as to why this game absolutely butchers CPU. This is the before and after. Same framerate, but with half the per-thread utilization. Just halo Infinite finally being proper with hyper-threading. Running clean and even across 32 threads. Everything just changed.
