The twitterverse has lost it’s mind over JJ. It’s very odd how much the narrative has gone off a cliff regarding him. Can’t defend him, can’t state facts about other portions of the team, can’t even list 3 QBs in order of their experience level without all of these “fans” on here imploding.

@_Edgecrusher I think the Will Fries Ryan Kelly duo was certainly the biggest let down especially with the money paid. If Darrisaw can play a full season and DJack develops more over the off season they should be able to run effectively to the left side at least.

I think it’s hilarious that J.J. McCarthy is the only one you’re allowed to be critical of on the whole Vikings team. They got clapped in the 24-25 season playoffs and have won 1 playoff game since my 7 year old son was born. They need to get better via the draft, period. Let it go you fu**ing weirdos.

Have we seen any player take as much criticism as JJ McCarthy over the past year—from anonymous sources within the Vikings organization and from public media figures, including former players like Cris Carter? Quite embarrassing as a Minnesota fan.

If the Oline plays like they did last season he will look as much like shit as everyone thinks JJ did. I think the Oline will rebound and so will QB play which will be unfortunate for JJ. We wouldn’t be having this issue at all had we not had a historically bad outing by the Oline last season. Shit does indeed roll downhill. It’s not the same take as everyone else and I don’t think we have a fore sale and get rid of all of the Oline but I think they had a bad year and now we will see how they recover and in turn the QB play will also recover.

If 2026 goes well for Kyler Murray, where will he rank among all NFL starting QBs?

And, nowhere did i say they need to be replaced. I said they played bad, they could rebound this year and so could JJ. Just like they were injured and playing bad, shit rolls downhill, when they are bad and injured it leads to QBs being bad and injured. 2 QBs were injured and a third seeing ghosts before the ball is even snapped. There is a bigger issue overall than just a QB with the Vikings last season.

League should have never added role select to ranked all those years ago. Created an entitled community of players that have no empathy or understanding for other player's experiences. @PatSieps Most drops in the league, O-line was non existent after injuries, no running game. But yeah its all the the QB. Justin Herbert was saddled with the same shit, Same outcome. If Vikes O-line play sucks and can't run it. Results will be worse.

I am not saying the Vikings are a top 10 team in the NFL but if you have the Panthers, Colts, Buccaneers, Bengals, Falcons, Saints and Commanders ahead of them you are insane. Went 9-8 with some of the worst QB play in the NFL. Laughable.

If you listen to KFAN, not sure why you would, they try to brainwash the listeners into believing Wolves are the biggest team in the state and that there would be a bigger celebration of a championship of them instead of the cup coming home to the state of hockey where the biggest high school hockey tournaments take place annually.
