We are preparing important announcements regarding our security cooperation with partners next week. We do not forget that air defense for Ukraine and support for our army remain constant priorities. More security arrangements are forthcoming. We already have an arrangement on security cooperation with India, and we are finalizing it so that the documents are in place. We are also preparing for further work with our European partners to unblock the already-approved support package for Ukraine, delivery of which still hasn't begun.

The continued easing of sanctions against Russia does not reflect the real situation in the war or in diplomacy and fuels the Russian leadership’s illusion that they can continue the war. This week alone, the Russians have launched over 2,360 attack drones, more than 1,320 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 60 missiles of various types at our cities and communities. Every dollar paid for Russian oil is money for the war. More than 110 tankers from Moscow’s shadow fleet are currently at sea. On board are over 12 million tons of Russian oil, which, due to the easing of sanctions, can once again be sold without consequences. That is $10 billion – a resource that is directly converted into new strikes against Ukraine. That is why it is important that Russian tankers are stopped, not allowed to deliver oil to ports. The aggressor’s oil exports must decrease, and Ukraine’s long-range sanctions continue to work toward that goal. I am grateful to every one of our warriors for their precision, and I thank all partners who are helping to increase pressure on Russia for this war.

I am deeply saddened by the recent escalation of attacks against Ukraine, which continue to afflict civilians. I express my solidarity with those who are suffering and assure all the Ukrainian people of my prayers. I renew my appeal for weapons to fall silent and for the path of dialogue to be pursued.

Сотні дронів і десятки ракет – на жаль, уже звична ніч для українців під час російської агресії. Також весь ранок тривала атака на Київ, Одещину, Дніпропетровщину та інші регіони. І це не має бути нормою, адже коштує життів і здоров’я. Це біль, який не минає. Мої співчуття пораненим і близьким загиблих. На жаль, сьогодні постраждали десятки людей, обстріл пошкодив багато житлових будинків, інфраструктуру. Підступність ворога безсумнівна. Та хоробрість і відданість наших рятувальників, медиків, військових дає надію в найтемніші часи. Дякую всім, хто рятує та оберігає.

Вдячний Королю Нідерландів Віллему-Александру за зустріч. Дякую Його Величності за особисту підтримку України та всього нашого народу впродовж понад чотирьох років боротьби проти повномасштабної російської агресії. Під час нашої зустрічі я розповів про жорстокі масовані російські удари по Україні, передусім про сьогоднішні. Важливо продовжувати підтримку нашої країни всіма можливими способами, докладати всіх зусиль, щоб зупинити вбивства та досягти достойного миру. Ми завжди будемо вдячними Нідерландам та всьому нідерландському народові за підтримку та вагомий внесок у захист життів.

I am grateful to King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands @koninklijkhuis for the meeting. I thank His Majesty for his personal support of Ukraine and our entire people throughout more than four years of the fight against full-scale Russian aggression. During our meeting, I spoke about the brutal massive Russian strikes against Ukraine, first and foremost today’s attack. It is important to continue supporting our country in every possible way and to make every effort to stop the killings and achieve a dignified peace. We will always be grateful to the Netherlands and the entire Dutch people for their support and significant contribution to saving lives.

Під час зустрічі з Прем’єр-міністром Нідерландів Робом Єттеном ключове – це, звісно, безпека. Сьогодні багато уваги приділили саме безпековим питанням. Україна запропонувала Нідерландам формат спеціальної угоди про безпекове партнерство – нашу Drone Deal. І це стосується не тільки дронів як таких, але й комплексного розвитку всіх спроможностей захисту неба: захист від ракет, дронів, розвиток РЕБ, наших спільних виробництв зброї. Ми дали завдання командам опрацювати всі деталі, і ми підписали документи про початок цієї роботи – і по Drone Deal, і по першому спільному виробництву саме з Нідерландами. Дякую за сьогоднішній обмін оцінками ситуації в міжнародних відносинах, і особливо через війну в Ірані, яка впливає зараз фактично на всіх у світі. Треба нам усім у Європі більше взаємодіяти, більше координуватися, щоб захистити європейські інтереси в умовах такої глобальної кризи. Дякую за всю підтримку.

During the meeting with @MinPres of the Netherlands Rob Jetten, the key focus was, of course, security. Today, we devoted significant attention specifically to security issues. Ukraine proposed to the Netherlands a format for a special agreement on security partnership – our Drone Deal. And this is not only about drones as such, but also about the comprehensive development of all air defense capabilities – protection against missiles and drones, the development of electronic warfare, and our joint weapons production. We tasked our teams with working out all the details, and we signed documents to begin this work – both on the Drone Deal and on the first joint production specifically with the Netherlands. Thank you for today’s exchange of assessments of the situation in international relations, especially in light of the war in Iran, which is currently affecting virtually everyone in the world. We in Europe need to engage more, coordinate more, in order to protect European interests in the face of such a global crisis. Thank you for all the support.

Світла памʼять усім жертвам війни та вічна шана тим, хто боровся за свободу Європи. Друга світова війна закінчилась повною поразкою агресора та покараннями для винних у воєнних злочинах проти миру та людяності. Маємо докладати всіх зусиль, щоб у цій війні Росії проти України кожен російський злочинець теж поніс справедливе покарання.

Together with @MinPres of the Netherlands Rob Jetten, we honored the memory of military personnel and civilians who were killed during World War II. Blessed memory to all victims of the war, and everlasting honor to those who fought for Europe’s freedom. World War II ended with the complete defeat of the aggressor and the punishment of those responsible for war crimes against peace and humanity. We must make every effort to ensure that in this war of Russia against Ukraine, every Russian criminal also faces just punishment.

Він отримає назву «Генічеськ» – на честь нашого судна, яке було втрачене під час виконання бойового завдання в червні 2022 року біля Кінбурнської коси. Це вже п’ятий корабель у нашому майбутньому протимінному флоті та другий саме від Нідерландів. Дякую за таку допомогу. Дуже цінуємо, що нідерландський народ так сильно нам у цьому допомагає. Вручив начальнику оборони Нідерландів Онно Айхельсхайму та нашим захисникам нагороди. Дякую за зустріч!

Meeting with our servicemembers training on an Alkmaar-class mine countermeasure vessel in the Netherlands. Together with @MinPres Rob Jetten, we spoke with them about how the training is progressing and discussed our future plans. The Netherlands will fully train the crew and will transfer the vessel to Ukraine as early as June. It will be named “Henichesk” in honor of our ship that was lost while carrying out a combat mission in June 2022 near the Kinburn Spit. This is already the fifth vessel in our future mine countermeasure fleet and the second provided specifically by the Netherlands. Thank you for this support. We deeply appreciate that the Dutch people are helping us so strongly in this effort. I presented awards to Chief of Defence of the Netherlands @CDS_Defensie Onno Eichelsheim and to our defenders.
