Obviously excited about UE6 but I do have some concerns: - No release timeline for UE6 - Changes to physics gameplay from UE3 to UE6 - Still the possibility of being ported through Fortnite - Likely far more demanding on hardware to run well Will stay optimistic 😇

@TadpoleRL So could that therefore be run via something like an Unreal Engine related tool? Would Rocket League then join that portal? Could Rocket League follow and split its gamemodes into individually downloadable parts - imagining that due to graphic upgrades the game size increases?

@TadpoleRL exact same thoughts here, though I’m 50/50 on whether we get ported into Fortnite or Unreal Engine You’ll obviously know FN has Lego, BR, Reload etc, but for some time now they’ve basically wanted to make these individual assets to download (so to speak)

@darkrai_rl feel like im repeating myself as ive just posted a mini thread but overall yes, do agree but if we're waiting 2 years, ill retract that statement shows that epic / the team behind the game actually care and want the game around for the future despite some stuff (layoffs)

overall still a positive for me but hopefully not waiting 2 years for this new engine (especially when UE5 was hinted at in 2021 and never arrived)

i suppose the idea / benefit to this is that it shows that there are MAJOR plans for the game going forward and to (literally) keep it around for another 10+ years, which considering the past 18 months, is a very big positive (recent months being better ofc)

so "one of the biggest announcements in the games history" is a new menu, fortnite lego being on the RLCS Broadcast and a new engine, which isnt publicly released and not rumoured to be released until 2027-2028 am i missing something?
