It doesn't state they were raped by ICE, just that they were the victims of rape. Keeping in mind that doctors in Texas face up to 99 years in prison if they get it wrong and abort a pregnancy that wasn't the result of a rape or posed no threat to the life of the mother. But wait, isn't this only highlighting a bigger issue? Why are so many of these young girls entering illegally and then being raped? Who is doing the raping?

Going through them one by one, I'm not sure what relation this article has to the topic? It seems to mostly be covering how pregnant women are being held in Texas, where they can't receive abortions? Isn't that because Texas is a border state, and the main route used for travel between Mexico and the States? Whether or not its mistreatment depends on where you stand on the Abortion debate. I would concede this point if its confirmed that women who were the victims of assault aren't offered abortion services, but as I understand it, Texas has the Life of the Mother Act, so they aren't being allowed to abort then someone needs to investigate.

It is as inviolable as any other. Commit a crime, pay the price. The price for entering illegally is being removed. Its as simple as that. This is why I boiled it down to "So I can enter your house". Entering your house without your permission is a crime. It has a price. You would expect I pay said price for commit the crime.

I fail to see the violence in lawfully detaining people for deportation. Violence implies a form of physical or mental harm. For this to make sense, it would mean that any and everyone arrested for a crime is experiencing a form of violence. If that's the case, it would be just as inhumane to deport someone as it would be to incarcerate them. I cannot logically apply the rule that "arrest = state violence" to both situations. It MUST be applied equally. So either you can't arrest anyone and no one can ever be held accountable for the crimes they commit or you can arrest people for committing crimes and deal with them accordingly (deportation for illegal migration, for example). I refuse to cherry pick. The law must be applied to everyone equally.

@lizibunn Looking at the the file permissions (these are linux permissions despite the os being windows 95). The members are local files in the same directory as caine and the circus. The user "root" has read, write and execute permissions to those character files.

now that the SOMA theory is practically confirmed, im almost sure the ending will imply them not being able to leave the circus but finding meaning to the life in there, especially because of gooseworx’s own words and what pomni said here
