@CalvLyfeson Makes me wonder if someone like Enrique is a fair bit higher on their list than Alonso, and they’re waiting to see what exactly happens with his contract.

I think it's time to change it but I don't have a clue who the alternatives are. The obvious one is Alonso and I'd probably make that change but they'll have their reasons if they feel he isn't suitable. I'd be curious to know the reasons.

If there aren't discussions happening over the coming days it's because he's steadfastly their guy and they're okay with defying fans or their prime target isn't available. Only two conclusions.

A *lot* of mitigating factors this season but for me personally they no longer cover him. Performances are insipid. Don’t look well-coached. He’s been given patience to engineer a turnaround and hasn’t managed it.

@FourNaanJeremy Last season sort of removes that for me. We were first in line to get a title once city fell off and we did, can argue they’re second in line. They’ve been much worse than we were last season though. We can wrestle it back 2026/27.
