I hope Sai Kumar drills some sense into @CMOTamilnadu, or tell Vijay he can’t do his job. There’s a limit to punitive transfers based on palace intrigues.
Stop this nonsense NOW!
At the very least when it involves internationally recognised and renowned civil servants.

Official statement from Greater Chennai Police:
Vijayan had exchanged objectionable electronic communications with the arrested accused, Thirunavukkarasu, and had remained in continuous contact with him during the period of the alleged criminal conspiracy. In order to ascertain the facts and circumstances surrounding these communications, a summons was duly issued to Vijayan.
His mobile phone has been sent for forensic analysis.
He has been instructed to appear when required for further examination.

Transferring officers is a routine executive function of an elected state government. Whether the officers are highly respected or internationally recognized doesn't exempt them from administrative transfers. Calling every transfer "punitive" is just speculation.
Also, curious that you tagged @actorvijay instead of @TVKVijayHQ. If this is about governance, why address him by his film persona rather than his official political identity?
