@TwistAndTurnz He chuckled, gently taking her hand. "Beautiful, handsome, it doesn't matter to me. Thank you, Barnes. So, what do you have in store for us today?"

@_Hydrokinesis_ "thank you, you too." She smiled, then realized what she said and blinked a bit. "No, wait, not beautiful. Boys aren't beautiful, right? That's not the right word. Handsome, boys are handsome. Well, men in your case. Or man, because you're just one man." She's rambling s bit.

Saturday arrived & Hazel repeatedly checked her check off list to be sure she forgot nothing. After about the 70th time she trusted her packing enough. And just in time, as time got close she left and headed to the park. She stayed somewhere easy for @_Hydrokinesis_ to find her.

@TwistAndTurnz He smiled as he watched her go, shaking his head before walking inside.

@_Hydrokinesis_ "that sounds great. Thank you." She gave a smile with a nod and went to leave. Taking slow deep breaths as she walked away.

After spending several days trying to figure out the best way to tell someone you may have feelings for them, she has settled on just asking them out. Asking him out. Because she realized, her father is right. She need to be honest with @_Hydrokinesis_, and needs to shoot her(c)

@TwistAndTurnz He chuckled again. "I will see you Saturday. Now, I gotta get back in here before they tear my apartment apart. You have my number, use it for any reason." He tells her.

@_Hydrokinesis_ "dating rules? prepare? Yes, I can do that! I definitely can do that. Thank you. I guess I will see you Saturday."

@TwistAndTurnz "normally, I'd offer to let you in, but it's definitely against dating rules to introduce you to my parents before even the first date. As it is, they've only been here a day and have managed to trash everything. The best you can do is just head home, tell your family & prepare."

@_Hydrokinesis_ "you mean it? I...okay! Yeah, it's a date. We...we have a date!" Hazel smiled but no one told her what happens now. "What...what do I do now?"

@TwistAndTurnz "at the park, Saturday at noon. I'll be there little Barnes, it's a date." He tells her with a small smile.

@_Hydrokinesis_ "r...really?" She blinked in surprise and nods her head. "Okay, yeah, um...how about Saturday? Meet me in the park at noon?"

@TwistAndTurnz "you make a compelling argument, that is for certain...alright, we'll go on a date. After that date, if you still feel the same- we'll see what happens. When and where, Hazel?"

@_Hydrokinesis_ "yes, I'm very sure." Hazel confirmed with a nod. "I'm hardly the easiest person to be around, but I like being around you. I like who I am when I'm with you."

@TwistAndTurnz "pesky?" He chuckled and then took a breath. Removing his hand from her cheek to place it on her shoulder. "You sure you want this? I'm not easy to be around like that."

@_Hydrokinesis_ Hazel looked at him, then raised an eyebrow. "I was raised by a terrorist organization that still chases me, I've killed dozens of people, I've been taken to space- I can handle one pesky shield agent." She replied then shook her head. "No one sees me like you do, no one."

@TwistAndTurnz He blinked a few times and looked down at her. He could tell from how she was reacting that she meant to ask and gave a small smile. Placing a hand on her cheek. "You're a wonder, little Barnes, but you're not ready for what that means. You don't want that, trust me."

@_Hydrokinesis_ "I...well, um, I came to ask if you'd be interested in...in, um, well...in going on a date...with me... maybe?" She stammered out, her eyes wide once getting the words out. Watching his face as she asked.

@TwistAndTurnz He chucked and shook his head. "You're a much needed distraction, Barnes, and you're already here. Come on, you know you can ask me anything."

@_Hydrokinesis_ "no, no, nothing like that. I...I wanted to ask you something." Hazel tells him, fidgeting a little with her hands. "But if you have family over, I can always come back at a better time? Or you can come to me, you know where I am."

@TwistAndTurnz "no, no you definitely didn't. My family is in town for the holiday, uninvited. Again. Luckily they stay on liquid diets, so I don't even have to cook. I'm just stuck with the mess. Is everything okay? Are you in trouble?"

@_Hydrokinesis_ "oh, you know, I was just...in the neighborhood. Just wanted to talk to you. Is he okay? Did I disturb you all?" She asks, just wanting to be sure she isn't being a hindrance or an annoyance.

@TwistAndTurnz An older man answered the door, whom Mark was very quick to pull inside & slam the door. "One moment!" He called to the door as shuffling & yelling could be heard inside. He then came out, closing the door behind him. "Sorry my father's not..well. Hazel? What're you doing here?"

(c)shot. Luckily, she knew exactly how to find @_Hydrokinesis_'s address and came down to his apartment. Giving a few loud knocks, hoping he'd be home and not away on a mission.

@TwistAndTurnz "shit!" He quickly turns it down and gives her a look. "I need to be able to hear so we can get home safe. Not too loud okay?"

@_Hydrokinesis_ Hazel sits there, tugging on and playing with her seatbelt. She sees the radio and messes with the buttons until deciding on a station. Then turns it onto full volume.

Hazel made a mistake! She made a mistake. She forgets that without supersoldier serum in her veins, she doesn't need much alcohol to feel drunk. In fact, she's kinda light weight now. So naturally, she drank too much & is dancing around and vomiting. Just wait till morning.

@TwistAndTurnz "was that a real compliment from you, Barnes? You truly must be intoxicated." He laughs and gets her to the car. Making sure she is buckled in before he gets himself in and buckled.

@_Hydrokinesis_ "fiiiiiine." Hazel groans, leaning on him as they head to his car. "You have pretty eyes. They look like the ocean."

@TwistAndTurnz "you're not boring, you're drunk. Very, very drunk." He chuckled, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "I am going to drive you home, then you are going straight to bed. No arguments."

@_Hydrokinesis_ Hazel pouts and throws the water at a wall. "I don't want water, that's all I drink. All day, every day. I'm so fucking boring."

@TwistAndTurnz "you can free yourself in two ways, fight back or tell me why you won't. Your choice, I have nowhere pressing to be today. I can do this for hours." He tells her, refusing to let go.

@_Hydrokinesis_ "I...that...shut up! And let me go, Mark! I have no reason to explain myself to you! Cut it out!" She demands, trying to free a wrist without trying to hurt him directly.

It's raining. Hazel missed the rain. Normally she doesn't care for it, because it makes her cold, but she doesn't seem to care tonight.

@TwistAndTurnz "No, I have tried the gentle approach with you. It doesn't work, you are too bullheaded for that." Mark tells, keeping her held in place. "But, some how, being rough helps you listen. You know how I know you're not fine? You could have me on my ass in seconds, but I'm not. Why?"

@_Hydrokinesis_ "get off!" Hazel practically growls, as she tries to free her wrists. "I say I'm fine because I am! Now let go!"

@TwistAndTurnz He grunts as he hits the wall. In a quick movement, he grabs her wrists & spins them around. Reversing their spots, using his powers to keep her wrists pinned. "That statement is a contradiction, Barnes, I can't be "caring" if I pretend to believe you are fine. When you're not."

@_Hydrokinesis_ Hazel just shakes her head. His words only anger her further & she shoved him into the wall of a nearby building. "I don't give a rat's ass how you, or anyone else, believe I should process my feelings! You want to play the caring friend card? When I say I'm fine, listen to me!"

@TwistAndTurnz "Hazel...I'm sorry. When I said I wanted to know what happened, I wasn't trying to pry. I'm sorry you went through all of that, but turning that pain into this blind rage will end up in you getting hurt more. Pushing everyone away will not help you feel better."
