Fellowship is the highest honour that the ISCP can bestow.
Last week, that honour went to Mary Pender and Sinéad McMahon. A huge congratulations to them both on their appointment as Fellows of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (meaning they can now use the letters 'FISCP').
Mary Pender has been recognised for over four decades of leadership in physiotherapy practice and education, with specialist expertise in acupuncture and the advancement of clinical innovation. She established our Acupuncture Clinical Interest Group (CPA) and the National College of Acupuncture.
Sinéad McMahon received Fellowship for her national leadership in physiotherapy practice education, with particular expertise in clinical education, accreditation and workforce development through her work at UCD, where she is Ireland’s first Director of Clinical Education in Physiotherapy.
Congratulations ladies, we are proud to celebrate you!
