Y’all. I know I asked for help, but let me clarify that category romance in the sense that I’m asking is not referring to genre. I’ve been reading romances for two decades. I review them and interact with them daily. 🙃

Category romance fans! I need recommendations. There are so many and I don't know where to start. Love sexy contemporaries, fantasy/paranormal, and willing to try historical. No secret babies or suspense!

@_ImAnAdult The fun thing about categories is that they’re pretty much what’s written on the box, but you should be able to look up any harlequin desires still. Should give you what you want. Also check out @thecategorical1

I think I've figured out why the marketing terms "STEMinist" and "romantasy" bother me and it's because they feel infantilizing, as if we need a cute portmanteau to describe romance novels. This is my grumpiest romance take, I swear.
