@IndianGems_ The Ahmedabad water tank being demolished was unused and structurally unsafe, and its removal is part of the Kalupur Railway Station redevelopment. AMC approved the demolition on public safety grounds, using top-down JCB methods to avoid road damage, reduce dust.

This water tank was built in the 1950s and after 70 years, a 8-ton JCB was placed on top to break it down. Just imagine how strong and durable the infrastructure used to be in old India 😭

The India Open 2026 badminton tournament at Delhi's Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium had to be halted twice due to bird poop. This was preceded by a monkey in the stands and complaints about pigeons in practice areas, poor air quality, extreme cold and stinking toilets. Where is our Sports Minister Mansukh ‘Baingan’ Mandaviya? Who is accountable for this international embarrassment? Does the govt even care?
