@ceciliren @_InferusRF In isolation many parts of it are. Azure Waters and Second Eruption are both very poignant looks into the suffering of young girls in the face of disaster and unfair circumstances, and obvs the game talks about this a lot too but it's hindered by being a gacha

Tempted to write a gag about Sirin in New Era AU knowing multiple languages as a unintended side-effect of hosting a 50k year old Herrscher core (that totally wasn't Kia's)

I still think about that time Kiana asked the others what they thought about Sirin in a way that was actually about herself.... Kiana referring to Cecilia as mama when talking to Theresa, only immediately correct herself, thinking she didn't deserve to call Ceci her mother...

Sirin(NE) accidentally calling Kara "Bella", but when asked she's confused cause she didn't consciously register what she said like "fym?" since only her subconscious remembers a Bella

Rereading old fics and cringing at them is normal and expected. Encouraging, even. Now, rereading old fics and experiencing a stab of fear (irrational or otherwise) that you will never be able to cook like that again? That's terrifying. Soul-crushing. It's happening to me.
