PLAYER 5 was in the academy system from 8-18. He now feels he has lost the passion to play football, having had many struggles with the mental side of the game, pressure from family, bullying in academies and pressures of performance. I'd urge anyone to read his story. 🧠⚽️

My advice after speaking with players on a regular basis is just to let down your guard. Especially coaches because of how high players value your opinions! A phone call to go over their experiences could have a massive impact. Often, this is all a player really needs.
