📋TESTING: From June 9th to June 23rd we will be conducting the following test in Ranked: Ranked will be solo queue only for all players Diamond and above. If you are Diamond or higher, you will not be able to squad up as a premade in Ranked. Our hypotheses are that this will create more evenly matched high-skill lobbies, reduce hard-carries into Diamond, Master and Predator and build trust in the overall fairness of these matches. While this is a commonly requested feature by portions of our community, we will be closely monitoring community sentiment and match data. Note: The in-game notification that some encountered yesterday (May 19th) was a visual error, and players are currently still able to squad up without restrictions.

So they are test something out that they should already have data on. We’ve already done this change in ranked, I don’t know why we went to what we have now in the first place. And before yall say anything else at one time only diamonds played against diamonds and pred and masters had there own lobbies @PlayApex #ApexLegends
