This headline makes it sound as if the Reform Cllr wanted Nigerians to do the road maintenance. The actual quote was “the amount of Nigerians in town. Should melt them all down and fill in the pot holes!!” How on earth could Tice not bring himself to condemn that?

Slots gonna get all the blame for this season while these players slip off on holiday and then those to the World Cup. They'll take no accountability or responsibility for their own performances, and just slip off scot free while the coach gets all the criticism and pressure.

@pdr I'm not saying he's not responsible, just that these players have to be held just as accountable. They controlled the game for 25 minutes and looked like they could score 3, then completely switched off. Surely that's not on the coach?

@LiamMor26952099 I'm not with the narrative that he can't coach considering he won the league last season. Players are just as responsible! First 25 minutes they had control of the game, then they switched it off and couldn't string 2 passes together for the next 20 minutes. Thats on the players.

People crying out for Slot to show more fire and emotion, but when he does, he’s still criticised. Don’t forget, it was Salah who started all of this by drawing attention to an issue that should have remained internal, yet he decided to give an interview instead. Slot is constantly being asked about these situations in press conferences, so is he just supposed to sit there completely unaffected, especially during a season where he’s already under pressure, and not back himself or the club’s decision? Salah is one of my favourite players of all time, and he’s given me some of the best days of my life as a Liverpool fan. But sadly, this is often what happens when a legend reaches the end of their prime. It’s hard to accept you’re no longer the player you once were. I wish him nothing but the best and I’ll follow his career wherever he goes when he leaves, but my love for this club runs deeper. All we can do is look ahead and hopefully to the next generation of players we’ll idolise.

This team do it to themselves, they let Chelsea settle into the game, gave them possession and then we became completely passive, ineffective and complacent. Honestly Slot looks just as annoyed and frustrated as we are. These players have a lot to fucking answer for!
