@NinaPanickssery I don’t know any grandparents that aren’t working full-time jobs. We live in a world we’re 60-year-olds are still working their full-time jobs. It’s not a matter of what people want. It’s a matter of the world being set up to be too expensive to let that happen.

Genuinely curious—why don’t more people use their own parents/kid’s grandparents for childcare as opposed to daycare/preschool/nannies (which seem more common)? Is it common for boomer grandparents to show disinterest in their grandchildren?

@_JACKASS_98 @juniorkingpp You're confusing raw totals with rates. Per capital (if you even know what that means), a black resident in that SAME rural county is still statistically much more likely to be arrested for weed than a white resident.

@HiRg273232 @juniorkingpp They are not though lol they are not more likely to be arrested at all again they just live in the denser areas that have more arrests made in total but if you go to rural areas it’s more Hispanic and white people being arrested. No one is targeting black people at all

@tieshatwo Exactly this! Townhomes where I were born were about $1200 5 years ago the same ones with no upgrades or remodeling are almost $2500 now. Older and shittier but more expensive jobs around the town haven’t increased pay either. Just a bullshit mass of greed and over pricing
