A tournament which we got through to the final on moments, which we lost to the best team overall. Funny how fickle fans can be, some who have never kicked a football in their lives. Only country I know who slaughter their own. Some of you should be embarrassed about your posts.

@luke_bunn97 sitting on the sideline analysing a game is easy. Until you’ve been in that position you can’t pass judgment and to say they deserve the hate etc is shambolic. Yes we have failed to win but we haven’t been good enough end of. No one goes out into a field of play wanting to lose.

@_JCAlexander It’s the biggest game they’ll ever play in there careers and that’s the effort levels and desire to win then it’s worrying.

@luke_bunn97 How are we a laughingstock? We’ve gone from not competing at all in tournaments to finals and semis. Yes we fall at the last hurdle and some would say tactically set up wrong but I don’t see that as a laughingstock.

@_JCAlexander Slaughter their own. Feel it’s deserved. 2 finals now we have bottled it. No tournament wins since 1966 can you blame English for slaughtering their team. Absolutely because it ain’t good enough. We are literally a laughing stock, we’ve had teams as good as anyone in Europe.

@luke_bunn97 Spain beat the best to get to the final, it has nothing to do with effort. You can run all day long that doesn’t make you a good team. A good team works together and has rythym which we’ve lacked since game one, didn’t deserve to win end of, we went into the final with hope.

@_JCAlexander I’m all for being beaten by the better side mate, can’t fault Spain, fair play to em but they are easily beatable. All about effort for me and performance I can accept playing well with high effort levels and falling short but players body language was so poor. Minimal effort.
