@AFCSilverMember I would have to do a 400 mile round trip by myself for games now as I can’t get tickets with my red member mates, or choose a seat near a season ticket holder mate. Doubt there are any games this season that won’t apply to, which just makes membership feel so pointless right now.

Hi Folks,
It’s been a pretty bad start to the year for the ballot. I’ve had success once so far, it’s an awful system.
We should have some updates in the next in person meeting on ‘loyalty’ and silver members. That is all I know so far.

@gem_84_h @AFCFixtureNews Just doesn’t seem right. The ballot is bad enough, but I can at least somewhat understand what it achieves, but to limit who you can go with so drastically is such a shame.

Don’t forget that the queue for Red Members for Community Shield tickets opens at 10am today.
It’s a random queue, therefore you have as much chance logging in at 9:55 as you do 9:30.

@AFCFixtureNews @_JRC1992 It's open to everyone, Gold/Silver and from 10am Reds. But as we speak the site is clogged up with users and there is a queue. I am almost certain Arsenal will get 10,000 more seats. No way will City sell out.

I don’t like a ballot system, or the queue system, but I also don’t know what I would suggest to improve it.

@goonermyz @hollywood_niall @AFCSilverMember But my point is that they could, as they can simply sell the ticket on if they can’t go. Which would then go outside of silver members.
Right now, silvers are competing with other silvers whether they do/don’t get a ticket, a silver is going to the match.

@goonermyz @hollywood_niall @AFCSilverMember There is no issue with it. That’s what the system encourages. The issue is that this season you only have to compete with the silvers who can and want to go to an individual game. Next season you may have to compete with every silver member, every game.

@_JRC1992 @hollywood_niall @AFCSilverMember The bot issue is separate and the club need to do more to deal with that, I agree. But you still haven’t explained what the problem with entering every ballot would be. You can do the same, so what’s the issue?

@goonermyz @hollywood_niall @AFCSilverMember The issue would be silvers entering every ballot because they feel they have to for any chance of a ticket, and if they can’t go, they’ll put it on the exchange and it will likely sell to a red (or a bot) reducing the benefit of being a silver.
