BREAKING NEWS 🛑 Two people have been shot and wounded in Gem Ramula, Siaya County by William Ruto's killer militia (GSU officers) following a second attempt by Shanta Gold to do illegal displacement. It's reported that the GSU officers are breaking into homesteads and forcefully evicting villagers from there ancestral lands despite a court order stopping the eviction.

The KWS officer, Abdulrahman Sudi who was the driver believed to have feried Brian Odhiambo after his arrest gave his testimony today. The officer struggled to offer a consistent account and contradicted himself several times under questioning. Sudi says, that he was left to guard a young man for nearly two hours, a man whose description matches Brian Odhiambo, even though he maintains that the person he was guarding was not Brian. Sudi told the court the suspect's hands had been tied with a rope, contradicting an earlier statement in which he had said the man was handcuffed. He testified that after he escorted the suspect to relieve himself, the man pushed him and disappeared into a nearby forest. He was unable to explain how a man he had earlier described as weak and exhausted managed to overpower him and flee into the forest, despite the fact that he was armed. #JusticeForBrianOdhiambo #EndAbductionsKe

The IMF is not one of the institutions established by or under the Constitution.Chapter 15 of CoK 2010 establishes Kenya's independent commissions and offices. The IMF is NOT listed there.

Consequently,the IMF CANNOT,by mere treaty,enjoy legitimate immunity in Kenya that would override the Constitution, Unless the Constitution itself is ammended to allow such a development.

The PFMA as is anathema to the Constitution of Kenya. Rather than being an implementing document it contradicts and contravenes the articles of the chapter 12 of CoK. A very stupid piece of legislation that needs to be reviewed. It brings back the old administrative order.

The recognition of international law is not submission to it. Article 2 (4) says something along the lines of..."any law inconsistent with this constitution is void to the extent that the consistency....." So international law or not,if it contradicts the constitution it is void

The godfathers of Odious debt,The men who used them as pawns and all those affiliated with the birth and growth of this monstrosity are still in government. Infact,the man who tabled the motion to ammend section 50 of the PFMA and the one who seconded it are both on the cabinet.

This is the Public Finance Management Act 2012 which was amended in 2014 to fix Section 50 subsection 7 Part C and D which allowed the executive to deposit borrowed money in foreign accounts out of the Consolidated Fund. Immediately the amendment was made, Uhuru went for Eurobond. This section MUST be repealed.

Among the most dangerous documents that were ever signed into existence was this amendment to the PFMA.Tabled in parliament by @HonAdenDuale ,seconded by @JohnMbadiN and signed into law by the well known thug of Ichaweri.This is the document that rubber-stamped odious debt.

Either Britain respects Kenyan laws, or BATUK ships out. We cannot be having a foreign military under diplomatic immunity within our borders.

Can a litigant simply blame their advocate for filing an appeal out of time? The Court of Appeal's answer in Chemben & 92 Others v Kenya Revenue Authority (Civil Appeal E267 of 2020) [2026] KECA 1535 (KLR) is a firm no. The Court held that while mistakes by counsel may occur, a litigant has a corresponding duty to remain vigilant and actively follow up on the progress of their case. Simply alleging that an advocate failed to communicate the outcome of proceedings, without demonstrating any effort to monitor the matter, is not a satisfactory explanation for delay.
