No family will treat its members like a stranger cos he is broke. A family is meant to provide emotional support, financial security, and a sense of belonging to every individuals/members. My story: After my msc degree from UI in 2016, For close to a year I was jobless & extremely broke. While searching for job, I was stayed with my parents & sometimes spend some time in my elder sister place. Never for once was I looked down on, I was eating 3 good square meals, even giving data sub & recharge card money by my family members. Every morning, I could hear my mum praying for all the members of d family. Words of encouragement from the elders in the family during those jobless time also helped me not to give up. Even in the bible, when the prodigal son went broke, he decided to returned home & his family members welcomed him with open hands. I repeat no family will treat u like a stranger cos u are broke, it only happens in Nollywood movies.
