1st rib stress fracture. Can be acute muscle pull or traumatic, but w/o specific moment more likely stress Careful-pain can be way off target-in front, near clavicle, or even posterior/periscapular. In this case he located well below level of first rib, suspicion must be high

Baseball player, no trauma, pain to front of chest noticed with batting. Thought it was pec pain. Rested, felt better, returned to batting and felt significantly worse I've seen 3 of these, all in off season or ramping up, usually working on swing changes

Members of BMIMC traveled to #AMEC2023 in Hartford, CT over the weekend. M2s @TheWilliamClark and @_JonathanHarley presented their research posters, while @dbkwakyeMD and @LSDuplechanMD were present at the residency exhibit hall!

Had an amazing time at #AMEC2023. I had the opportunity to present my research and learn a few orthopaedic skills at the #nthdimensions workshop. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to attend again.
