if you want to believe the bottle thing you must also admit the suit thing for Tony. And without the suit, he is certainly half the man he pretends to be with it. and yes of course Tony ultimately sacrificed himself but only after an entire movie series worth of selfish decisions and pig-headed ego that the story arc needed him to be redeemed at the end vs Cap who was consistently selfless and service oriented since before he was ever given his superhuman abilities. Plus, Cap didn’t sign the accords. Tony did. Plus he talks smack to Cap about “being an idiot dragging in Clint and rescuing Wanda” when Tony literally dragged in an underage high school kid into his government funded superhero drama instead of involving 2 people who are already involved!! What are we even talking about here!? Obbbbviously I get it everyone loves Iron Man and that’s what the whole series is made to make everyone think which i too fell victim to but as I’ve gotten olden and have now rewatched the movies countless times to fall asleep to it’s so clear to me that Tony is so so wrong about so so many things and is ultimately responsible for a lot of bad things that end up happening to him and the avengers and the world honestly But then makes up for it in the last second. So ya I don’t hold it against anyone for liking iron man, especially more than Captain America and this whole debate is just fun super hero talk so I hope you are genuinely finding this at least slightly amusing as I am.
