@Ghoulrielle Absolutely not! If anything it’s not enough, especially if you’re doing custom design work on top of the art. It’s easy to feel like you’re overcharging, but your time and expertise is worth more than that 🖤

Be honest with me,
I charge about $125 for full custom character design and reference sheets.
They usually take me around 30 hours give or take depending on complexity.
Am I charging too much? Because I worry I am.

Commission prices are out of control. Simple as. 300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing?? Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.
