Visited China. My wife broke her foot in Chengdu. Went to a local hospital, same one that locals use. It was clean, modern, state of the art. $4.50 to see a doctor. $40 for a CT scan. No insurance. No paperwork. She was checked, treated and out in 2.5 hours. Hard not to compare.
