This is not a video of any protest in Nashik.
It is from the famous Jamboo Savari procession during the Mysore Dasara festival in Karnataka. @Cockroachisback @abhijeet_dipke shared an edited version of the video.
In the original footage, elephants are clearly visible at the end. During the procession, the central decorated elephant carries the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari in a 750 kg Golden Howdah.
The Jamboo Savari tradition dates back to 1610, during the reign of Raja Wadiyar I, and has been held every year on Vijayadashami for over 400 years.

Congress has a long and shameful record of destroying the lives of honest officers, scientists, and patriots to protect its corrupt politics.
Padma Shri awardee and former Ministry of Home Affairs official Shri RVS Mani has spoken about the torture he endured to manufacture the fake "Hindu terror" narrative and compromise India's national security for vote-bank politics.
This was not an isolated case.
Keralam's own Padma Bhushan Shri Nambi Narayanan was falsely implicated, tortured, and his reputation destroyed.
Congress's dirty politics set India's space programme back by years.
The CPM stood firmly with the Congress through those UPA years while patriots were harassed and institutions were compromised.
Today, the same politics continues in Keralam.
Congress and the CPM:
• Oppose strong national security laws.
• Align with radical organisations like Jamaat-e-Islami and SDPI.

The police atrocities on our youth in Delhi is unacceptable. Shame on the Union government. The All India Trinamool Congress fully supports the sit-down protest by the Opposition today near Akbar Road. Our full solidarity. There were also police atrocities in Kolkata all through last night. BJP goons did all could they could to disrupt preparations for our Martyrs' Day programme. They arrived on motorcycle squads, destroyed signage, vandalised the stage and deliberately cut microphone wires. Many youth were threatened and injured by these goons. Inspite of all this, our Martyrs' Day program today in Kolkata was very special, supported by our committed grassroots workers and people from across Bengal. We pledge to unitedly fight the atrocities and dictatorial attitude of the BJP. We will take our fight from Bengal to India. United we stand.
