Interesting—rhetoric is important!

Even when not 100% focused on a task, taking quick breaks to chat with friends in the library/colleagues at their desks always gave me new inspiration & ideas. Been missing it since March 😔

Really hoping that when I start full-time, it’ll be in-person. Zoom work/school has its pros but I miss being able to grind things out in the physical company of other people, feeling the productivity in the air

Here's another! In 2000, the avg. human attn. span was 12 or 13 seconds. In 2013 (presumably due to our increased reliance on technology), it was reduced to 8 seconds. For context, a gold fish has an attn. span of 9 seconds.
