@naijeriann @Hibana122 @The__Vyrus Thank you, but this doesn’t answer the question. Where Shallipopi & Rema are from are facts. Saying one is valued more because of that is an ethnic take & can cause tension among two friendly Edo artists’ fanbases. How he came about that insight is the question I’m asking!

@Dappab @eldivine Exactly, you’re a president, you tackle these things head on & there are many democratic ways to do so. I’d say something people don’t like. The only reason GEJ gave up was because he never fought for that seat. It was given not earned and he let us pay the price for it

@Ssaasquatch I’d work with you on the Education one. You can drive STEM, and leave history and civic education to me.

If any of you ever become president and are considering me for any cabinet appointments, just hand me the Ministry of Sports. Yes, I want to be Minister of Sports. I have some unorthodox ideas I need to implement, and genuinely believe I’d outperform 99% of Nigerians in that role. Give me just 3–4 years and I’ll turn the entire ministry around and start producing global talent. Just try me and see. Second choice would probably be the Ministry of Education.

We are not paying for what Jonathan didn’t do. We are paying for the stupidity and ignorance of Nigerians who refused to pick up a history book to know the incompetence of Buhari. He was not a bad president either, one of the best this country has ever had and he warned about APC
Dean@_KingDean1

@eldivine I think he had good intentions, but was a bad president. When you’re given power and you have conviction, you must do all you can. In hindsight, he did not do all he could or so it seems like and we’re still paying for it.

@slowzeus I watched GEJ explain what happened that day. There were options, people were telling him what to do as INEC began acting foul. He walked away and made the call and he “felt the weight” off his shoulders. He gave up without a fight!

@slowzeus I’m not the president but I can think of many things e.g. we know via hindsight that the west supported Buhari for their own interest. GEJ knew geopolitics, he could have called China in and try to do a deal. The west will adjust and recalibrate their bet!

@slowzeus By trying to be the bigger person when a group of people brought war to a country you were selected to protect. GEJ knew what would happen and he didn’t do enough. If you argue otherwise then how can you say Nigerians didn’t do enough as well?

@Dappab @eldivine You’re saying it like the people were not fed lies. We all saw on TV how they changed the narrative that the dictator brought order and didn’t steal. That election was a war for our souls and only one party fought for it! Thats all I’m saying. I’m not removing our blame.

@_KingDean1 @eldivine If people believed a washed up dictator who openly called for deaths in 2011 is a batter candidate than a sitting president who with his flaws gave us 6%GDP, single digit inflation and highest fdi in west Africa then their is nothing the guy can say or do that people will believe

@slowzeus But it is his job and I think that’s where we both disagree. Everything else we largely align. It was more of his job because our democracy is still fragile and not fully functioning and that showed in 2023. He was meant to protect us and he protected himself.

@_KingDean1 2023 is different because we all saw the sentiment of the people. They rejected APC then. They didn’t reject APC in 2015. It’s not his job to convince you to reject someone else in a democracy.

@Dappab @eldivine I wonder why Nigerians believed. What did GEJ do to combat the lies? Is it the fault of the average Nigerian that the leaders they believe in lied and the one in power let the lie fester?

THE CORPORATE WORLD HAD A BLUEPRINT FOR ADVANCEMENT BEFORE THE "GRIND". IT WAS CALLED LEVERAGE. IT WAS REMOVED FROM EMPLOYEE HANDBOOKS BECAUSE IT STRIPPED MIDDLE MANAGERS OF THEIR POWER. AND THE EXECUTIVES WHO ERASED IT DOCUMENTED EXACTLY WHY THEY DID IT.

@slowzeus Lucky you, you knew, how many Nigerians knew? How many are on Twitter and watch the news daily? You cannot remove the blame from the one who had the job and give it to the victims! Also, he did not need to become a dictator to fight back!

@_KingDean1 I was a teenager when Buhari came to power and i did enough of current affairs in primary school and secondary school to know Buhari was a bad idea. Any adult who could vote in 2015 cannot feign ignorance to what APC was. Being willfully blind is on the citizens

@slowzeus No, why we are here is because we refuse to hold the right people accountable. If I follow your logic, then you’re saying 2023 election outcome was okay because the people voted and we know who won, but here we are! It’s his job to protect the present and future!!!!! His job bro!

@_KingDean1 He gave you free press, gave you good economy. What should he have done? Seize power and become a dictator? When the people he’s trying to save want to cut his head? This is why we are still where we are. You people refuse to take accountability for the mess that is 2015

@slowzeus How would the average Nigerian know when Nigeria is one of the few countries where history is not taught, but a few lines embellished into the subjects like Government and civic studies? GEJ knew and what did he do with his knowledge.

@_KingDean1 Had pushed terrorism back to the brink. Re you as a Nigerian nt supposed to know who Buhari was before the 4th republic? Someone who called Boko haram his “brothers” nd wld have been their spokesperson? Same man whose supporters killed Nigerians in the aftermath of 2011 elections

@slowzeus It’s his job! There were unborn babies and children who couldn’t vote because of age, they did not deserve APC. It’s his job! He did not do all he could. All the lives he claimed to have protected, and development he made - he threw away!

@_KingDean1 This is just copium because it’s not his job to prevent you from falling into the hands of APC. He sufficiently warned you and did what every democrat ought to have done. That you refused to adhere to his warning is not on him. It is on you. What should he have done?
