At a work event for my wife. Constantly 👀 @mlb updates. Lady I met an hour ago says to me “I think you’re addicted”. I explained the lockout has ended and I’m checking for free agent signings. Turns into a 15 min convo about ⚾️ and now I have a new friend #baseballisback

This home plate, which is preserved in Cooperstown, was used at Zenimura Field in the Gila River Internment Camp, where thousands of people of Japanese descent were forcibly sent in 1942. Zenimura Field hosted its first baseball game on this day in 1943. bit.ly/3hu48ql
