Today, like every other day, I’m remembering my brother, Coach Darcy Haugan, and his boys on the bus. Our hearts will never forget.

A tweet isn’t enough but I have to give thanks to everyone involved who made my little girl feel safe and valued.

@IWKHealth @EHS_NS @costcocanada Today, I saw my daughter have an unconscious event at the Costco, in Dartmouth, NS. I saw an incredible group of people who were prepared with peace and understanding, from the shocking start to the walking out of emergency of the IWK.

Grief is looks different for each one of us. It takes time and hope there a caring and supportive people around those families today. My hope today is those mourning their loved ones will feel and be comforted and have an extra measure of peace.

I cant believe its4 yrs since Humboldt accident. Im not sure how to approach this day… w/ my emotions and w/ social media. I guess this is a memorial tweet for my friend Darcy. I think about him, the Haugans and the other families often. I won’t forget them….

A week ago at this time I was riding in the ambulance on the way to the ER after an accident on the farm. Today I’m walking around, after a week off doing laundry and dishes at home. Even got both socks on today. #lucky #thankful
