At the recent London baseball banquet, I learned the whole idea of giving me a reserved spot behind the plate originated with Christian Olivares. So when I went out to take down the sign to save it for next year, I HAD to get a pic. Next time the sign goes up at the park, Chris will be attending school and playing ball in sunny Southern California. But I’ll save my final comments about him for later. There’s still work to do in 2027!!
