Air Riders felt refreshing bc it wasn't strapped to being this massive crowd-pleasing game. Not everybody was going to jive with it and I was content being in the audience that does. Kirby existing in this peripheral outside of the A-list has been healthy for it creatively.

I think we need to realize there isn't a need for everything I like to be the biggest thing ever.
Kirby is already doing well. The last mainline entry is the best selling game in the series and Air Riders - a spinoff game - has sold upwards of 2 million copies in half a year.

I’m being fr the entire series deserves way better While I love the franchise a ton. I just wish people would discover it more rather than the character itself. It’s a genuinely great series under that casual gameplay
