You could argue his 1xPokal win (so far), 2xPokal finalist, and consistent UCL qualification with a team in the relegation zone when he took over, is equal or greater than Iraola's PL experience. He also looks a bit like Klopp. And that's that for my surface level analysis 🫡😅

I'll be the first to admit Hoeness is the candidate I know least about in terms of the detail of his tactics and his personality. However, I know he is a true advocate of the gegenpress and is an expert in first phase build up. The latter is his strength over Iraola imo.

@Michael_J_Adams I think he could because I think he's a good manager. I don't think anyone will lead Liverpool to titles next season, however. In fact, it could even take longer than we'd like to transition to an Iraola style.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

@Beetlep95923146 Late July (world cup final), most likely earlier than that tho of course. But then you'd assume he'd need a break. It's just bad timing. He'd be ready for sure October-November time tho. But planning for a mid season change can't be the plan, we can't throw away another season.

Salah's always done his best to win for Liverpool, and he's been the figurehead of the playing squad that led us from midtable obscurity to PL champions (x2) and the UCL. He's earned the right to say what he wants about the state of the club.

@Beetlep95923146 Well it'd have to be Hoeness because he's actually available. Nagelsmann is tied to the World Cup so he's more if we keep Slot and sack him in November I'd imagine. They should just put Iraola in the bag and be done with it tbh, only exceptions are for Klopp and Enrique 😅

If I was John Henry I'd sack Hughes (none of this leave and run away from the consequences of your actions after the summer stuff), give Edwards a 10milly bonus to sort out the transfers, and give Alonso the keys to the castle. Then, sell 51% of the club to the fans in 2027 🫡
