After nearly 14 years, today was my last day at Starbreeze. PAYDAY, OVERKILL, Starbreeze has been my heartbeat and my identity for my entire adult life. But somewhere along the way, I started holding onto it all too tightly. The game, the name, the PAYDAY producer identity.

We've partnered with Sidetrack Games to support PD 2 on PC! They have roots in the modding community, and we have trust they'll bring the game back to life! Starting Oct. 23 the first update will come out, and they'll be focusing on QoL updates to start: hs.paydaythegame.com/XhAs50XfqzN

Dear heisters, After 13 and a half years, today I announced that I am leaving PAYDAY, OVERKILL and Starbreeze.

I think the only way that payday 3 could be saved at this point is if they do what the community wants and make a game like Payday 2 but just poured it over to Unreal Engine.

@ThiccWineBoi If they just brought most of payday 2's features that we all love into the new game, it could be great but most of the essential things are missing and some new things are bad.

@_M0rtifer_ I feel like pd3 was destined to flop, there's some games that just can't get a sequel and pd2 was one of them
