Midweek. Most people will never automate their actual workflow with AI. They'll automate a demo. A toy. A "what if." But this 3-question filter finds the automation worth building: 1. The Boredom Test: what did you do manually this week that bored you? Not "what could AI do?" — what did YOU do, with your hands, that felt repetitive? That's your first automation. The boring stuff, not the impressive stuff. 2. The Pain Test: what breaks if you stop doing it? If nobody notices when you stop, it's not worth automating. Automate the things that hurt when they're missing. 3. The Sentence Test: can you say "I take [this], do [steps], and produce [that]"? If you can say that sentence, AI can build it. If you can't, you don't understand your own workflow yet. Get clear first. Start with one. The most boring one. That's where the leverage is.
