How you can give that as a penalty and red card when you don’t give the Amad one…!!!! Definition of disgraceful officiating. #mufc

Some of the reaction on here by #mufc fans to last night’s loss is pretty weird. Bad game, bad performance - but not the end of the world. Certainly not as bad as under Amorim. As for the Scholes Instagram story: To see some club legends sink as low as they are… like, grow up?

Just to clarify a few misconceptions and highlight some interesting things I’ve seen re: journalism. My question was admittedly long but journalists typically ask three or four questions which when added up are of an equal-ish time to mine. I deliberately chose to ask one detailed question instead. I mentioned the 2006 columns as I wanted to see if 1) his opinion had changed 20 years on and 2) how he deals with that as a coach now rather than an analyst or writer. His answers provided inference to both even if he didn’t explicitly say so, which is helpful for my work going forward. And lastly, I asked that question as I am working on a piece around those ideas. The quotes feed into the article. The article is the end product. Getting more information from an interviewee is probably the aim when the interview is the end product. Getting new information relevant to the article is the aim when the article is the end product. Everyone entitled to an opinion on someone’s journalist approach. As someone with a big passion for football especially tactically, I’m enjoying trying new things and I’m happy with how it’s gone so far whilst always trying to improve with guidance from the best. Excited to share my piece next week so stay tuned.

British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, who himself has migrated to tax haven of Monaco, says the UK has been “colonised” by immigrants. He’s also factually incorrect when he says the “population of the UK was 58m in 2020”. It was actually around 67.1m. So it’s a 3m rise, not 12m.

Manchester United part-owner has told @EdConwaySky the UK has been "colonised" by immigrants, who are draining resources from the state, as he warns of the country facing profound political, social and economic challenges. 🔗 trib.al/osc1ZDm

Great read this on Roy Keane’s silly comments about Ferguson. “He is simply an 84-year-old man who likes watching his team. He has lost his wife. He has every right to be at United.” I’d question whether Sir Alex “likes” watching this team… but he definitely isn’t the issue.
