Today I toured the #JustOneProject’s #MealsonWheels facility in Las Vegas and helped deliver food to families in need #OnlyinDistrictOne. Their program provides critical services for the elderly and home bound to fight food insecurity in our community. No one should go hungry.

As we close out #NationalNutritionMonth, we are reminded that good nutrition is key to aging well, and Meals on Wheels ensures seniors have access to the meals they need to maintain a healthy diet.

Sandy and I were honored to join the incredible team at the Wood County Committee On Aging to serve meals during Community Champions Week. Every day, this organization delivers more than 600 meals to older adults across Wood County. We were especially proud to volunteer alongside Bridget West, a third-year dietetics major at @BGSU. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support a group that is making such a difference in our community.
