I just signed a discharge petition to force a vote on a bill I helped lead that would fund every aspect of @DHSgov except ICE.
This would ensure that our @TSA workers receive a paycheck, that the Coast Guard can return to normal operations, and that @FEMA grants can be distributed, all while we continue to negotiate proper guardrails to rein in ICE.

A healthy Lower Colorado River is critical not only for our water supply but also for the thousands of native fish and migratory birds that depend on the river for their habitat. As a founding member of the bipartisan Congressional Colorado River Caucus, I helped introduce legislation last year that would provide more funding to improve these critical ecosystems.
This bill passed the House yesterday and is now heading to the Senate for a vote.

All Crew Members of U.S. KC-135 Loss in Iraq Confirmed Deceased TAMPA, Fla. – All six crew members aboard a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft that went down in western Iraq are now confirmed deceased. The aircraft was lost while flying over friendly airspace March 12 during Operation Epic Fury. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. However, the loss of the aircraft was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire. The identities of the service members are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.
