So I have a job!!🍎📚In September I will have my own year 1 class

What middle leader can afford to take such a pay cut to take this job? Meaning that experienced teachers who would be good at this won’t apply. A great way to support the most vulnerable children who need the experience to support them

My new school year resolution is to not tell children off for laughing when they’re in trouble. I definitely also laugh when nervous and know it is so frustrating to be ‘laughed’ at but also know it cannot be helped

@MISSNTEACHING I have, I referenced how I had developed since being there and things about how the ethos of the school was lovely and I knew that and could support this. I also referenced achievements I had made whilst there too

@BengaliTigger @TheStudentLeads And how many of these schools have great results. I was pressured to mark the psc correctly when they weren’t and because I wouldn’t I wasn’t allowed to do any more. Despite me saying for months they weren’t going to make it and that they needed support 🤷🏼‍♀️

Stumbled over this on FB and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry 😳😬 What’s the most ridiculous thing that you’ve ever been pulled up for?

@annief1 @TheStudentLeads I had a little Ikea square table that was so low you couldn’t sit at it so my laptop could connect to the board. The table was big enough for the laptop that was it and it wasn’t allowed to move 🫠
