Excited by the recent snowfall, KS1 went on a hunt outside to look for signs of winter. We also used loose parts to make snowflake collages and snowman pictures. Furthermore, the Arctic animal tuff tray was used as a stimulus to write sentences using adjectives.

Inspired by our T4W text ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Catastrophe’. KS1 have been retelling and creating their own stories, building lighthouses and playing bingo. Furthermore we even had time to follow instructions to make Mr Grinling a delicious jam sandwich for his lunch!

Everyone @KSL_Kirkdale had a marvellous morning watching @MandMTheatrical perform Sleeping Beauty. A great opportunity for children to experience live theatre.

Mrs Hart has spent the morning trying to get through on the Santa hotline. Panic over! The big man can come and see our wonderful children on Tuesday. Story time with Santa will now be on Tuesday.
