@ZeroSyndicate Unfortunately, the correct way to play him is still without using his elements as they didn't address the core issues with them 😕

Love the changes to Sandy in this patch. Hopefully this incentivizes more usage of his full toolkit. I still think that his light form is very strong, but I think he also allows for more effective expression now!

@RealBalloonCoVG @Sw1ss_3 @bar_barXII Street Fighter/Strive/GBVS is an example. They are easy to understand if you look at the screen. Someone jumps so you anti air, but in 2xko if Yasuo does js1 and whiffs, a new player isn't going to know they need to air throw instantly to prevent the tag on the incoming assist.

@_MrZippy @Sw1ss_3 @bar_barXII What fighting games do have casual appeal under your definition? Not accusing, just curious. From my perspective, they all have "hard to teach game awareness"

@Sw1ss_3 @bar_barXII More than anything else, it’s game awareness as it’s hard to teach people to know when and how to move on the screen or what threat to look for, as it’s ever changing especially in a game like 2xko where it changes with a snap of a finger because of it being an assist fighter.

@Sw1ss_3 @bar_barXII Inputs are never what dictates if a fighting game is going to be easy or hard.

@_MrZippy @bar_barXII Correct me if im wrong but isnt the game made with casuals above all else? it seems even easier than the modern controls from sf6. I think the only thing that would push people away would be the switch in and tag team mechanic

@GTekFGC People don’t get how having any patch knowledge weeks before a massive tournament for any game is a huge deal. If I had that for last years AWT I could have had months rather than a few weeks on a new character for the patch to lessen the blow of losing the patch lottery.

Friendly reminder - There is a difference between "A region getting the game early" and "People getting invited to a closed playtest". One is public and one is private. It also doesn't matter how long the playtest was, they were still behind closed doors on the new patch.

As the year is closing, we wanted to remind everyone once again that EVO awards nominations are still open and we're still campaigning for the Best Local category! We're so thankful for the East Coast FGC and if you've ever wanted to give back in any way this is absolutely the way to do it ❤️
