Our Scottish Wars of Independence topic is being well received in P4! We recently learned about the origins of Tartan, and used Disney movie stills as our inspiration to create our own Tartan! Thanks for the idea @kabercrombie_ We had great fun!

We prepared healthy Rocket Fruit Kebabs for ‘Make Food Fun’. Pupils were responsible for preparing the fruit before adding it to their skewer. They all look delicious 😋 🍏 🍊 🍇 #DPSHealthWeek24

On Friday at my Placement school we were raising funds for @strathcarron1. P4/5 held a bake sale and raised over £700. Absolutely incredible! The staff had an afternoon tea after school. This was my entry for the “Great Grange Bake Off”. 💙

My P3 class were learning to identity onomatopoeia. We listened to popcorn cooking in the micro, then the children sorted sound and non-sound words into the correct categories. Plenary involved identifying at least 2 examples of onomatopoeia to create our class popcorn box!

We also made circuits with fruit battery cells, testing whether types of fruit or metal had an impact on the flow of electricity. Another excellent way to develop knowledge, as well as the opportunity for children to learn about how to conduct a fair test. SCN2-10a #STEMeducation

Great idea to support children’s understanding of circuits and electricity. Today @UoD_ESW we made these circuit quiz cards using tinfoil to connect the Q and ANS. We then tested them using buzzers and bulbs! SCN2-10a #STEMeducation #DundeeUni #PGDE24
